Welding: By adjusting the pressing amount of the extrusion roller, control the weld gap within the range of 1~3mm to ensure that the two ends of the weld port are flush. After completing the above steps, you can produce straight seam steel pipes that meet the requirements.
The production principle of seamless steel pipes
The production principles of seamless steel pipes mainly include oblique rolling method and cold rolling method.
Inclined rolling method: Inclined rolling equipment includes base, PLC controller, inclined rolling mechanism, etc. The oblique rolling mechanism consists of a drive plate, an annular frame and six support frames, each with a rolling roller. By driving the motor to drive six rolls to rotate simultaneously, the billet is tilted and rolled, thereby improving production efficiency, reducing energy consumption and internal defects, and improving product quality and stability.
Cold rolling method: The cold rolling pipe mill is mainly composed of a core head with a certain taper and a pair of hole types with gradually changing hole grooves. While the working frame is reciprocating, the rolling rolls rotate at the same time, and the tube blank is repeatedly rolled in the gap between the core head and the hole type to achieve thinning of the outer diameter and wall thickness of the tube blank. The entire rolling process includes feeding, pre-rolling, compression, finishing and diameter sizing stages to ensure that the diameter and wall thickness of the pipe blank meet the requirements.
Production principle of straight seam steel pipe
Straight-seater steel pipe is a type of steel pipe produced with steel strips, and is named after the welded part is a straight line. Its production principle includes the following steps:
Raw material preparation: Use strip coils as raw material.
Extrusion molding: The strip steel is rolled through multiple rolls and gradually rolled up a circular tube blank with an open gap.
Welding: By adjusting the pressing amount of the extrusion roller, control the weld gap within the range of 1~3mm to ensure that the two ends of the weld port are flush. After completing the above steps, you can produce straight seam steel pipes that meet the requirements.
